Privacy Policy

1) Who we are

AbodeVid provides tools to create and publish property marketing videos. If you have questions about this policy, contact support@abodevid.com.

2) Information we collect

• Account data: email address and basic profile details you provide (e.g., name).
• Content data: media you upload and video/project metadata you enter (e.g., titles, captions).
• Integration data: third-party connection records and authorization tokens required to perform actions you request (e.g., uploading a video to YouTube).
• Technical data: limited logs necessary for security and troubleshooting (e.g., timestamps, IP address, user agent).

3) How we use information

• Provide and operate the Service (e.g., generate and publish videos you request).
• Authenticate users and maintain sessions.
• Prevent fraud/abuse and maintain security.
• Provide customer support.

4) Google / YouTube API data (Retention & Deletion)

If you connect your Google account to use YouTube features, AbodeVid may receive Google user data such as:

• Basic account info (e.g., email and basic profile) used to associate the Google account with your AbodeVid account.
• OAuth tokens (access token and refresh token) required to perform actions you explicitly request, such as uploading a video to your YouTube channel.
• YouTube account/channel identifiers and the upload metadata you provide (title/description/visibility).

Retention. We retain Google OAuth tokens and related connection data only while you keep the YouTube connection enabled, so that we can provide the YouTube upload feature you request. If you disconnect YouTube or we detect that you revoked authorization, we delete the stored tokens and related connection data from our production systems.

Deletion. You can request deletion of Google user data by emailing support@abodevid.com. Upon verified request, we delete applicable Google user data from our production systems within 30 days. Residual copies in backups (if any) are removed as backups rotate.

You can also revoke AbodeVid’s access at any time from your Google Account (Security → Third-party access). Revoking access invalidates the tokens and stops YouTube actions until you reconnect.

5) Data protection mechanisms (Sensitive data)

We implement administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect sensitive data (including OAuth tokens) against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including:

• Encryption in transit: HTTPS/TLS is used for data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
• Access controls: production access is restricted to authorized personnel and follows least-privilege principles.
• Server-side token handling: OAuth tokens are handled and stored server-side for functionality and are not intentionally exposed in client-side code.
• Monitoring & auditing: we monitor for operational and security issues and investigate suspected unauthorized access.
• Secret management: secrets are managed via server configuration; we rotate credentials when necessary.

6) Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Service providers: infrastructure/hosting providers that process data on our behalf to deliver the Service.
• Third-party services you connect: when you connect Google/YouTube, we use your authorization to perform actions you request.
• Legal: if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7) Your choices and controls

• You can disconnect third-party integrations (e.g., YouTube) at any time.
• You can request deletion by emailing support@abodevid.com.
